From September 6th to 9th 2022, the SMM 2022 trade fair in Hamburg took place in presence again. With its successful outcome, the world’s most important platform for the maritime industry fully met the expectations. 2,000 exhibitors from all technology sectors of the maritime industry and more than 40,000 visitors from over 100 nations were finally able to meet again in person after a long period of pandemic restrictions.
IW-NET participated in this outstanding event, presented by project coordinator ISL as part of the Bremen joint stand. Particular focus was placed on IW-NET’s innovations and new concepts for inland navigation, namely digitalisation, optimisation of infrastructure as well as innovative and environmentally friendly ships.
